An excellent weekend staying in the Oread hut at Rhyd Ddu. Rhyd Ddu is in
the western slopes of Snowdon giving easy access to some of the finest
walking and climbing in the country. On Saturday the weather was not
promising to hold for all of the day and the party split in to several
groups. I have been provided with a fine collection of photographs by Michel
Foulnneteau of his first circuit of the Snowden Horse Shoe.
On the Sunday everyone walking elected to drive over to Croesor and
traverse Cnicht, again Michel Foulnneteau has provided the photographs. |
