A glorious days walking in and around the Edale valley, the weather was exceptional and for some including myself a little too hot. Never the less this day will be well remembered in the months and years to come. The Edale valley and the surrounding hills dominated by the southern edge of Kinder, has all the elements for a good days walking in summer or winter.

The walk started from the car park near the railway station. After leaving the village the route ascended Kinder via Ringing Roger and followed the southern edge to Jaggers Clough then onto Win Hill, a quick visit to Hope then a very hot assent to Lose Hill followed by Back Tor, Hollins Cross and finally Mam Tor before descending to the car park in Edale.

Thanks to Jo and Emrys for leading the walk and for keeping a eye on those feeling the heat.
